Snowmobiling

Snowmobile through our private ranch and over 50 miles of groomed trails. The trail head is located 15 miles north of Hayden Colorado. Besides the breathtaking scenery you will have the opportunity to view wildlife and take photos. Our tours can accommodate up to 10 snowmobiles.

We book weekdays and weekends December, January, February and March (weather permitting).

Elkhorn Snowmobile Adventure Tours 2011/2012

For the ultimate snowmobiling experience we offer full and half day excursions.Tour's include endless miles of open meadows and spectacular 360 degree views and panoramas with over 50 miles of groomed trails and 50 thousand acres of riding.

All tours include door to door transportation (45 minutes from Steamboat Springs) a professional guide, suits boots and helmets, hot drinks and fresh baked goods (home cooked lunches also available).
*Organic and vegetarian menu options are available for all packages that include a full meal.

A reservation is required, with a maximum of ten sleds per tour.
2 person machines are available .
Must be 16 years old to operate machines.
Up to 8 snowmobiles, 6 recommended on Adventure Tours.

HIGH ADVENTURE SNOWMOBILE TOUR
This trip is for the experienced rider who wants more adventure. this full or half day excursion offers long track powder machines You will experience miles of terrain, powder fields hill climbing and beautiful scenery. if you are looking for the ultimate ride this is the tour for you!

Accommodations Available at Elkhorn

Lodging is available from Mid December through March at our rustic historic lodge located at the Elkhead Historic Ranch. The lodge can accommodate corporate and family groups of up to 10 adults.

Lodging Rates for 2011/2012
$100 a night includes dinner and breakfast
$75 a night with full day tour dinner and breakfast included
